The Disability Management System (DMS) provides leadership to the University and University Health System efforts to ensure an accessible, hospitable working and learning environment for people with disabilities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. We serve as a centralized clearinghouse on disABILITY-related information, procedures and services.

C-1 Bus Rerouted - Summer 2023

March 14, 2023

The Abele Quad renovation will impact the C-1 bus route this summer.  Check here for campus bus information and alternate accessible service.  The bus will be routed up Flowers Drive from May 22nd through August 4th.  All other stops on the route will not be affected.  The dispatcher can be called for ADA shuttle assistance at 919-684-2218.

Abele Quad Renovation Project - April-December 2023

This work will be done in various stages over the course of the rest of the year.  Temporary paths and alternate routes will be in place during the course of the work.  For additional information, FMD places alerts on their home page.

 

Trent Semans Site Remediation - Sidewalk Replacements

November 14, 2022

Site work and sidewalk replacements will be in process in the area immediately around Trent Semans Center for Health Education.  Due to weather delays, work is now expected to be completed in mid-June 2023.  ADA access will be available.  Signage will provide directions and alternate routes.
